  1. The left see apologies as basically the same thing as the Spanish Inquisition saw confessions extracted through torture. They don't want you to apologize or admit wrongdoing in order to reconcile with you. They do it so they can justify all the crap they are going to subject you to. If you refuse to apologize then you make the lefties look like the bad guys, because their actions will seem extreme and disproportional.
