  1. If the average quality if life is already good, then what's the incentive to keep the economic growing? I don't really believe it's desirable to maintain a constant upwards curve or that indefinite economic growth is possible. It's OKAY if the curve flattens out a little bit. Economic growth is necessary if the quality of life for the population is absolutely dreadful. That's a reason to improve it. But if people are pretty much fine, then there's no real reason to strive for more and more. It's enough to simply seek to maintain the current position
