I'm not on board with banning parties on ideological grounds. A principled democracy has to accept the risk of getting voted out, even if it means that communists or national socialists end up getting voted into power and then proceeds to abolishing democracy. That said, the state should reserve powers for dealing with radicalist groups who don't go through the democratic process to get into public office first. You need police with authority to quell violent riots and civil unrest. I don't care if it means summary arrests, dispersing "protesters" or using violence, up to lethal violence to get them to stop. At the same time, the police must be trained in picking out the trouble makers from the larger herds of protesters, otherwise every protest can be sabotaged by infiltrators who show up to cause trouble in order to trigger a response from the police to disperse every single protest that takes place. I don't care how you do it. Even if you have to put police snipers on the rooftops to shoot individuals who start breaking windows or setting fires. The full force of the state must come down like a ton of bricks on anyone who breaks the law during a protest.

You don't need to teach kids that ideologies are evil. All you need to do is be frank about how many people the ideologies in question murdered. I can be in front of a class of students and teach them the history of communism. I can tell them the values and the consequences of those values. Same with their policies. And I can tell them how many people put to death and the reasoning behind it. The vast majority of children will get the picture and reach their own conclusion. So there is no need for loaded words like good or evil to do it.
