  2. Honestly, finding a comedic spin on awful events is glorious. Consider tje italian film Life is Beautiful. It's not just funny but also very sweet and wholesome. The epitome of a "feelgood" movie. And it manages to do it while using the Holocaust as a backdrop. It's quite genius to be able to do something like that with such a depressing backdrop. Humour is one of mankinds finer coping mechanisms in the face of atrocities and horrible events. It's rebellious and defiant in the face of the worst adversity imaginable. It's an act that says "you may kill me but you won't take away my spirit". So why on earth would you seek to destroy that?
