  3. I find this rather disgusting. Sturgeon is just trying to whitewash history by making some token and posthumus pardoning of women who were killed hundreds of years ago. This act does nothing to pay restitution to the actual victims. It's just a PR stunt to sanitize the history of Scotlands government to make herself and the SNP look "good". Restitutions like this only matter when the agrieved party is still alive to benefit from the pardon. It does jack shit when they've been dead for decades.
