Eh WTF!? No, sane parents DO NOT coerce their children into doing stuff solely for the parents pleasure. Bringing your kid along to a funeral is not for the parents pleasure. It is a way of teaching the kid about death and the way humans pay their respects to their deceased loved ones, which is an important human ritual that has been around since neolithic times. If you deprive a child of ever going to a funeral when one of their relatives dies, then you're denying that child a fundamentally human and formative experience. How the hell can these morons become "Ethics professors" when they don't even understand the most basic and rudimentary knowledge of anthropology? Put them up against a wall and end them now please.
