Asking for two experts on opposite side of the argument isn't unfair for the purpose of interviews and news reporting though. Part of getting the audience to really ponder over an issue and make up their minds means that both sides of the discussion should be subjected to some educated challenging and debating in order to see who comes out on top. That said, I don't believe for a second that Hasan Piker would ever be satisfied no matter how many experts are brought in. Since he's a habitual goalpost shifter.

True. He basically brought spotify to heel. They wanted him on Spotify far more than he needed to be on Spotify, and he's given far more leeway in expressing controversial opinions on it than anyone else.

@init100 I know. The "debate" between Carl Benjamin aka Sargon of Akkad and Vaush comes to mind. Only Vaush did most of the shouting and interrupting, because in Vaush' mind: if he interrupts and shout over his opponent so they can't speak, he wins. Only nobody watching it thinks of Vaush as a winner...

For the record: Spotify definitely have community guidelines and have deplatformed people in the past. Both podcasters and musicians. But they basically cuck to Joe Rogan due to the size of his audience, letting him get away with far more than anybody else.

I only use unregistered, pre-paid sim cards so I don't really care who knows my phone number. 🤣

I don't see what's ironic about going to russia for free speech. Russia hasn't been clamping down on free speech. If you look into it, you may note that no Russian court has demanded that any news organisation or publisher to be shut down or cease operations in Russia. The only thing the courts have done is force certain disingenous publications to disclose their financial backers and to publicly admit when they are being funded by international NGO's (like the various foundations owned by George Soros) so every reader and viewer knows where they get their money from, and can make up their own minds about whether that financial backing may influence the writings being published or not. Another issue is that Russia has banned NGO's from directing LGBT lobbyism towards children. Again, hardly a freedom of speech abuse since children should not be subjected to sexual materials and lobbyism to begin with. Freedom of speech applies to adults, not kids.

@thomvogan3397 Yes and that is the glaring and massive failing of the MSM. The person who brings two sides to the story and have them duke it out in front of an audience is the more honest person. That's not to say I think Joe is being dishonest or had dishonest goals in mind though since he probably think the same as you do. It's just that in the grand scheme of things it helps with ones credibility to hear both sides out as much as you can.
