Washington's interest is demonstrably less legitimate than Moscow's in this situation. Washington is just doing what it always does: trying to lord it over the entire world. Moscow's interest is not wanting Ukraine to become yet another Nato-state which is currently engulfing all of Russias western borders. If Ukraine became a Nato member and the U.S sets up nuclear missile silos in Ukraine, then those missiles would be within such a short striking distance from Moscow and other strategic targets in Russia that Russia simply won't have the time to deploy any countermeasures before those nukes hit. Basically, american controlled nukes in Ukraine is pretty much exactly like the Cuban missile crisis but in reverse. So it's frankly impossible for Putin to just allow that to happen. Also Ukraine could get out of this situation easily ny signing a treaty to not join Nato or the EU. But they won't, because the hatred of Russia runs deep in the Ukranian elite and they want nothing more than to hurt Russia in any way they can.

@TuhljinTampergauge Lol, cry harder, liberal 🤣 You might wanna look at the names and the money of Putin's opposition before commenting. You're basically doing George Soros' bidding, cupcake. 😉 I see that you neglected to make any counter-arguments to my claims. But please do indulge me with your galaxy brained take on this: In what universe does it make sense for Russia to just allow Nato to set up nuclear missile silos right next to the Russian border? I mean, even if you hate Putin, you can't honestly say that it's in either his interests or the interests of any russian citizen whatsoever, now can you? You might also want to keep in mind that Nato promised not to move further east than eastern germany. We all know how that promise went. So in what universe does it make sense for Russia to just stand by and watch as country after country closer and closer to their border gets turned into a Nato puppet? Are you seriously going to make the claim that Nato has only "the best of intentions" and would NEVER do anything that might threaten Russian sovreignty if given the chance? 🤣

@TuhljinTampergauge Sure you are, Soros puppet. 🤣 How can I be a KGB troll when i'm not even Russian or even slavic?

Any threats from Germany are pretty hollow since the Germans are terrified of jeopardizing Nordstream 2. Germany needs that gas. And Russia has the supply for it. There's no if's or but's about it.

@TuhljinTampergauge Russia was fine with leaving Ukraine alone before Ukraine started talking about joining the EU and approaching Nato. Why is that huh? Ukraine is not an innocent victim here.
