Imagine the arrogance of Netflix for rejecting David Lynch' ideas...

Hope you have many more productions to come. I feel like indie film makers are in for a golden age rather soon thanks to the advances in camera technology and A.I. I believe there are a lot of things in film production that A.I will have the power to make very accessible to small teams with small budgets that can potentially have great results.

@christophermoonlightproduction The way I see it it's like this: while I can certainly appreciate the dedication and effort that artists put in when using traditional instruments and art supplies to great effect, at the end of the day I think what makes any art interesting is the vision behind it. So what if you or your crew aren't these super talented and educated CGI-experts from Pixar or Weta or whatever? If you have a really cool cinematic idea in your mind's eye that you want to show the viewer and AI helps you putting it on film, then it doesn't really matter to me how you put it into film. What matters is that it's there in the end and that it speaks to me. This is just one example and facet of film making of course, but I hope you get my point. The AI can't create the vision, but it can help you realize it and that's the kind of stuff that I want to see AI be used for. Another analogy would be with music and a composer. The composer may not be able to play every instrument, but he can still write good music. It can also be translated to games development. I want a future where AI can help decentralize the development of films and games from the "culture capitals" like Hollywood, so that everyone can make a game or a movie as long as they have a good idea for one that they believe in. The cultural landscape will be far more interesting and have more perspectives and angles when the creative process isn't solely in the hands of experts in the practical departments
