I have no sympathy for "landlords" who don't even own their properties they rent out. No, buying a property with a mortgage only to rent it out for more money than you pay into the mortgage is not being a landlord, it's being a scalper.

Wage increases are a consequence of living and housing expenses being ramped up. Wage increases are not so much as a "bonus" to your pay as they are a prerequisite to be able to live and work in an area where inflation is going bananas

@christopherkelley1664 When you do that, you're basically making the tenant your debt slave. They are paying your mortgage for you. Which is not how it's supposed to work.

@christopherkelley1664 How about you get off your lazy ass and work for a living, pay off your mortgage and THEN rent it out when you're the actual owner instead of the bank being the owner while you're just pocketing free property and profits on someone elses expense?
