  1. I think there's also a matter of cultural compatibility. Let's say that the immigrants weren't primarily from muslim or african countries. Let's say they were from Thailand or South Korea. How often do you hear of riots and gang crime among Thai or Korean ethnic groups in countries to which they've migrated? Are they always perfectly integrated with the host cultures? No. A lot of the times their communities can be a bit insular and they stick to their own. But do they go out of their way to cause trouble or supplant the local culture with their own? No, they are notoriously polite and agreeable with local culture and customs, even the parts which they do not understand or agree with on a personal level. I swear, if Europe had gotten mass migration from Thailand rather than the islamic world, nobody would've had anything to complain about.
