2021 sucked most of the time. But despite restrictions I was able to see my girlfriend who lives abroad, not once but twice and we had a great time. It's quite the hassle living apart like we do, but that's what happens when you first meet online and discover that you live in different countries. The timing was pretty crap too since Covid reared it's ugly face just six months after we first met. We're both holding on though and everything feels good. We're looking to move in together as soon as possible, but travel restrictions prevents it for the time being.

@snugglestruggle8437 Neither of us are getting vaccinated. That much is certain.

@EwfrGomulee Yeah, we're in the same situation now. She was able to leave the country earlier in 2021, but neither of us were allowed to enter our respective countries. So what we did was booking flights to a third country where we could spend some vacation days together. But now her country has basically banned people from leaving the country unless they show vaccine passports.
