  1. Yep, it's the inspiration for boltguns. Although boltgun rounds are more like two stage rockets with a warhead since they have shellcasings and an initial propellant. The rocket motor kicks in after the bolt round leaves the barrel. What i'm holding my breath for is for some backyard tinkerer to invent an actual bolt round because they would sort of work in theory, but we won't know the effectiveness until one is made.
