The statistics today show that children who are taught to use firearms at an early age tend to not be involved in violent crime or lethal accidents to the same degree as people who had no training or experience with firearms at an early age. So teaching kids about proper weapons handling at an early age is actually a good thing.

  2.  @esajaan  No, but if you look at those who are involved in violent crime, hardly any of them were taught how to shoot from an early age by serious instructors. The vast majority of them were taught about guns from action films or other criminals.
