  1. I wish we could revive gladiatorial games. As long as they fight voluntarily, or if they are sentenced to life in prison, they could fight for more luxorious prison cells or maybe even some occasional, yet heavily guarded leave permissions I really don't see the problem. And of course: partaking in gladiator combat should always just be an option for a prisoner and not mandatory. If all these parameters are met, then what's the harm? I mean, if you've done something so awful as to warrant life in prison, you might as well give something back to society in the form of glorious entertainment! We could have the premise of films like Death Race come to life! :D
