As far as sponsors to avoid goes, I think everyone knows by now to stay away from Kamikoto knives and Established Titles 😅

My personal advice for sponsors is: don't forget Europe. See a lot of the time content creators will take on sponsors who only deliver to, or operate in the U.S which is a shame since a lot of European viewers miss out on the deals and discounts. So it would be a good idea to make a point of probing a sponsor to see if they offer their goods and services globally, or if they only cater to the american market.

I think part of the reason Raid Shadow Legends is disliked is because of how prevalent it is with youtubers advertising it. Personally I don't mind it at all, because the company behind Raid seems to really go the extra mile of sponsoring creators even if they make controversial content and often get demonitized by youtube.

@jarskil8862 The gist of it is that they claim that their knives are these high quality japanese steel kitchen knives forged and made by expert japanese smiths, but in reality they're made in China. And while they probably work as kitchen knives, their quality is really in the mid to low tier range. Shad from Shadiversity actually debunked Kamikoto knives in a video where he compared one of them with tests to a bargain store kitchen knife, and the latter outperformed the Kamikoto knives in terms of durability, edge retention and sharpness. So the knives may look nice, and may be delivered in nice looking wooden boxes and all. But they're not worth the price kamikoto is charging.
