Well seeing as how japanese culture is pretty fucked up with it's many expressions like lolicon and "kawai"-ideals with massed numbers of japanese men basically being closeted pedophiles, these women are probably just trying to adapt to the situation. I mean we're talking about a country where having fucked up teeth is considered "kawai" because it reminds them of children who have yet to receive their adult set of teeth, and people actually paying for cosmetic surgeries to alter their teeth so they look more snaggletoothed because straight, white teeth looks "too adult". These women see the profuse sexual deviancy in Japanese men and go: "Hey, if I want to get a man I need to adopt as many infantile and childlike mannerisms as possible".
