  4. lazy asfuch: Possibly, but i'm going with police training here. They call it the "10 foot rule". Which basically teaches that a suspect within less than 10 feet of you is a serious threat even if they're just carrying a knife.

  5. I own two Punch daggers from Cold Steel. If their swords and larger weapons are of equal quality then I'd say they are pretty damn good. The daggers were surprisingly sharp right out of the box and they've retained their edge over the years that I've owned them. I generally shy away from buying swords and stuff since it's really hard to tell if you're gonna get an actual (working) sword, or some aluminium replica display piece. But if I were to buy a sword, then I would prpbably give one of cold steels swords a try first based on my experience with their other products.
