  1. Golden At least that's what most bronze items have looked like to me. Also if we're talking about the green ones then you're not really seeing the bronze but verdigris (an oxide) Kind of like how iron is normally dark grey, but turns red due to oxidization (rust). It is iron oxide by then and not pure iron.
