@Ballistik1 What would burning a vest or shooting up a bike that you've already paid for achieve. You're destroying your own property at that point. Destroying your own stuff does not hurt the company. It's refusing to buy more stuff from the company that hurts them.

@jennifernordlund2691 In what way is it "deviant"? It might shock you to learn that the vast majority of men enjoy half-naked women in almost any setting. Since the vast majority of men are heterosexual, and haven't yet let their preferences be warped by feminism and political correctness.

No they haven't. But targeting innocent truckdrivers won't make them apologize. All it does is make the boycott movement look like idiot pricks who go after innocent people.
3
@murph1329 Oh yeah, because low level employees "standing up to management" usually ends well for the employees, amirite?
3
Lol! Gillette sent me a razor handle for free on my 18th birthday. I still use it, only I don't buy razorblades from them 🤣
3
@Michael-Archonaeus It is, yeah. But I find it funny when businesses get hurt by boycotts and start complaining about capitalism, while being fine with capitalism during times when they are free to run off with all the profits.
2
@hariman7727 Because there will never be such a thing as a "free market". And the only ones to claim to push for one are people looking to corner and control it through private capital means (since they don't have access to political and legislative means). The idea of a "free market" is no less utopian than the communist society.
2
Don't bully people who only transport the beer. Bully the people who buy the beer. They're the ones funding the company after all. The truck drivers are a cost to AB so long as they keep working. They help the boycott by being a financial drain on AB.
2
Sure, distributors will be hurting as long as they keep trying to sell AB's swill. They should stop buying from AB and distribute products from other companies.
2
@Zeusifer_ These idiots don't think that far ahead. They think the employment market is stacked in favor of the employees and they can just go out and "get another job" at their own leisure.
2
@IamGreatsword And what did the truck drivers do wrong here, exactly?
2
@hariman7727 "Corporatism" is just the "No True Scotsman"-fallacy that capitalists resort to when the spotlight is centered on the flaws of capitalism
1
@hariman7727 It exists. I'm just arguing that it's integral and inseparable from capitalism. And you're right, i am anti-free market. Because the freer markets have been made, the more hostile and nightmarish societies have become. No need to look further than the U.S. The most capitalist country in the western world is also the most violent and crime-ridden. Hardly a surprise.
1
@hariman7727 You sound like a socialist right now. "But that's not REAL capitalism. REAL capitalism has never been tried!" I fail to see how "big government" policies tell people to abuse drugs and line the pockets of violent criminals to get those drugs to begin with. There's no causaution whatsoever.
1
I definitely believe it. Seen plenty of similar dumbass shit in the past, and the last idiot certainly hasn't been born yet.
1
@deltalima6703 If they can get a job with one then fine. But at the end of the day, executive decisions are not the employees fault. If you harass employees over decisions the execs make then all that makes you is a terrorist asshole. Maybe you should learn to place the blame where it actually belongs instead of questioning employees?
1
I don't think people would accept their apology though. If AB crashes and burns then that will have a more positive effect on the market than if AB manage to redeem themselves
1
@cvn6555 Yes, that was my point. We've got more to gain by seeing AB destroyed by the boycott than we have from a possible redemption. If customers starts coming back because AB apologize then other companies will continue with woke-baiting attempts forever
1
@MTFOphantom If that is an option then sure. But don't go on hating on innocent truck drivers who've done nothing wrong. AB is going to collapse anyway due to the boycott's and truck drivers will need to find new jobs then. Terrorizing truck drivers is just plain uncalled for. That's not doing a boycott, it's just being an asshole.
1
@no name Why? Chances are the truckers position is along the lines of "look, buddy. I don't sell this stuff, I just transport it and collect my payment". Which is perfectly fair and reasonable. Also if you try to think one step further: truckers are a cost to AB. The longer the truckers keep working for AB, the more money it'll cost AB. And since AB's revenue is going down, it means the truckers help speeding up AB's collapse. So discouraging truckers to work for AB will only help AB in the long run since truckers quitting means: AB don't need to pay them wages.
1
@no name A truck driver isn't "supporting" the company. He's earning a paycheck. I.e a net COST to the company.
1
@no name Yes, they will be out of a job regardless. But by staying with the current job for as long as they can milk it, they're accelerating AB's downfall. So stop discouraging truckers for doing their job. They're helping the boycott.
1
@computernerd8157 If you're worried about that, I can assure you that you don't need too invasive tools to simply remove the company logo's from the bike or the vest. In reality though: advertisement is a grift and not nearly as valuable as advertising companies seems to believe. To prove it you don't need look further than yourself. I'm willing to be that more than 90 percent of advertisment you're exposed to any given day is completely filtered out your mind, and it doesn't affect your purchasing behaviour at all.
1
@Asher1964 Wow, you really think so don't you? 🤣 AB will have a field day in the media if stories of truckers and other employees getting harassed come to light. They'll call boycotters unscrupulous terrorists who target innocent employees with no executive powers, and the public watching these news stories will believe it. But please, by all means, continue your crusade against truckers. Just don't get salty when your boycott movement dies and i'm here to say I told you so 🤣
1
Same. Put them back in the closet where they belong
