@keonhh10 Here's the definition copy/pasted from Merriam-Webster: discrimination noun dis·crim·i·na·tion di-ˌskri-mə-ˈnā-shən 1a : prejudiced or prejudicial outlook, action, or treatment Eg. Racial discrimination b : the act, practice, or an instance of discriminating categorically rather than individually 2 : the quality or power of finely distinguishing the film viewed by those with discrimination 3 a : the act of making or perceiving a difference : the act of discriminating a bloodhound's scent discrimination b psychology : the process by which two stimuli differing in some aspect are responded to differently

@keonhh10 As you can see, the "unfair and prejudiced" definition is just one of many meanings to the word discrimination. And there is nothing wrong with using discrimination in contexts where it isn't determined by prejudice.

@LightsCameraLivex Discriminating against convicted sex offenders from working with childreb and kindergartens is an example of discrimination that is positive.

@fallenprometheus Ever heard the term "discriminating taste"? Which is something viewed as positive/refined? Sounds to me like YOU are the one in dire need of a dictionary
2
@keonhh10 not all discrimination is unjust or prejudicial
2
@keonhh10 Okay then, explain the phrase "discriminating tastes" and it's connotations. I'll wait...

@keonhh10 So Merriam-Webster is not a major publisher then? 🤔 I think I have a superior grasp of the english language to you, bucko. See what you're doing is just typical lefty doctrine whereby you arbitrarily change definitions of words to suit your political narrative. Just like your kind did with "racism".

@keonhh10 Trans people are a liability in many jobs though. For example, they require artificial hormones, which makes them less suited for front line duty in the military (since front line servicemen can't count on having a steady supply of any kind of meds). So there's nothing "prejudicial" about it. It's just facts.

@Canthavemybones Yep. Lefties trying and failing at linguistic manipulation and supremacy as always.
