  1. Feldgendarmerie Commando: They really had to learn burst firing. I seem to recall that the MG42 fire rate was considered way too high for the purpose. However it is kind of cool to have the gun that needs to be "downgraded" in fire rate because it's simply too monstrous compared to the others. :P

  2. From what I've been taught, Heavy Machine Gun is a designation for heavy calibre guns (like .50 and above), while calibres below (like 7,62 and 5,56) are considered Light Machine Guns. But maybe this wasn't the case during WW2.
