  2. A friend of mine served in the armed forces, and he was assigned as close protection to the command staff of a tank brigade. He told me EVERYTHING about where you pee and shit when inside a tank Some of that stuff will make you wish you were an infantryman who could simply dig a hole and do your business wherever you please.

  3.  @LionofCaliban  You could only do those things if you were lucky. But they had week long exercises of fighting in NBC-situations. Which means: no one leaves the inside of the tank under any circumstances. They had this... "device" for taking a dump in, which basically looked like something you might see in a gynecologists office, that spread your butt cheeks so that you could take a crap inside of a bag. And you have to do this less than a meter away from the other members of the crew in the tank or the IFV that you were stationed in. That said, being in armored gave them quite a few luxuries which the infantry envied. For starters: the never even bothered pitching any tents when it was time to sleep. They just slept inside the tanks and the IFVs, which were heated on account of the engines, while the infantry froze their asses off out in the below zero temperatures during the winter. The vehicles also had water heaters so hot coffee and hot chocolate was available at an instant. XD
