@LA-qv1ir You may note that pretty much every single so called "democratic socialist" country... Is still fundamentally capitalist, permitting stuff like free trade, private property and the right to EXPLOIT workers labour for your own profit. Why it's almost as if capitalism is the driving force to create wealth and thus improve people's way of life in general? :P Whatever gains "democratic socialist" countries make, they have capitalism to thank for it in the end.

@AndragonLea Exactly. Every time it fails, it wasn't "real socialism". And it doesn't matter if an infinite amount of do-overs is required. The socialists will never concede that their ideology is a bad idea that simply doesn't work in practice.

@StCreed You seem to forget that stalinism and maoism also has their hatred of private property and earning your own money through private enterprise as central themes... Just like SOCIALISTS.
