I'm alright with a fight between a tribe of Comanches and The Predator. They were taught since birth to become hunters and survivalists after all. But having a small girl being the main protagonist just feels shoehorned for the sake of "the message".

Would've given this film a lot of extra points if they canned the English and had the characters speak the native tongue of the Comanche instead. One of the few things I really liked about Mel Gibsons Apocalypto. Very flawed movie, but I feel immersed as hell when characters speak the languages they are supposed to speak.

Is Arnold really that bad of an actor though? The way I try to judge someones acting abilities by is looking at the differences between the different roles they have played in movies to get a grip on the range of their acting ability. Arnold is heavily typecast as an action film protagonist, yes. But think of it this way: in The Terminator he was a cold, robotic villain. In The Predator he played a special forces field officer. In Twins he played a naive, but brilliant gentle giant of a man. In Junior he played a man going through the difficulties of pregnancy. In Kindergarten Cop he had to act out the role of a teacher and surrogate parent. His heavy accent can dampen the dialogue a bit, and i'm not saying he's the greatest actor that ever lived. But you have to admit that he has taken on a pretty wide variety of roles during his acting career.

@Destiny87 No kidding? I thought I'd give it a watch sometime. Hope I can get the Comanche version.
