I always wonder what inherent "entertainment value" would be derived from shoehorned "representation". If they want to watch a movie about lesbians and transpeople, then why not seek out films that were made to deal with the subject? There's no narrative utility in arbitrarily shoehorning those topics into films about entirely different stories and topics altogether.
