Neither racism nor sexism was ever that big of a deal to be honest. Both have always been just minor inconveniences whose impacts have been blown way out of proportion.

@VVabsa : That's not really racism, but racial discrimination. Racism is basically thought, and sometimes speech. Racial discrimination is an act. It is entirely possible to be a racist person, without engaging in tangible racial discrimination. Like denying someone a job or a place to live based off the colour of their skin.

@ACSMEX : The majority of people with racist views (which is most people on earth, yes including non-white people) do not start or wage wars over racial differences. Everyone is racist to a certain degree. That doesn't mean that they want or believe that genocide should be inflicted upon someone of a different race. If I say that all black people love fried chicken and water melon. Then that's a racist statement. Arguing that me saying this means that I want to start a Holocaust 2.0 for black people just because I believe that black people likes fried chicken is a bit of a stretch. There's no logical chain of causality involved.
