  1. Doesn't sound very smart to steal money out of the cash room. If you intend to launder money, you'd ADD money to the cash room. Money which you've acquired through illegal means that is. When doing so, mixing the illegally gained money with the cash that patrons of the casino, you'd create "false" profits. All taxed and perfectly legal afterwards. Or rather, the IRS wouldn't be able to distinguish the illegal money from the legal money without having an agent counting every single deposit that patrons drop off in exchange for gambling chips.
