@vietnamnam99 National defencen, police, fire departments and schools are not products but services. And there's literally nothing EXCEPT the government preventing the private sector from offering all those services cheaper and more effectively than the government does.

See the government never form their own construction or production crews but simply take tax payers money and hire private contractors to build these things... while also paying themselves (and their cousins and relatives through nepotism and corruption) for the trouble pf spending someone elses money. So society can easily cut out this bloated middle man we call "government" and pay the private contractors directly and save billions.

@asterixandobelix195 Globally speaking, I'd agree with you. But in regards to western private education, i'm not so sure. Even the prestigious universities have bent the knee to the woke brigade at this point, so they're not really seats of education anymore but propaganda and indoctrination centers. So somewhere in the world, there's definitely public institutions who haven't accepted wokeism as gospel and thus offer better education than most western universities.

@Hardcore_Remixer But can you trust government to handle either responsibly? The government is usually staffed by people who have no vested interest whatsoever in ensuring the prosperity and safety of the country they govern.
