Good lord! I took the honkpill about a decade ago! I used to be quite the edgy, nihilist that wished I had never even been born. But then I started to question my worldview. Not the fact that the universe is inherently nihilistic and that there's little point to anything, mind you. I still believe that. But I questioned why I should be such a mopey sourpuss about it. Might as well have a good time while it lasts. :)

@MaryamYouyou I hope you've made a recovery. I think I would've done something similar in your situation. There's just no point to give up and despair. You'll just end up dead if you do. As long as i'm breathing, I might as well go all in with something like chemo and power through the pain and discomfort. Either you die from the effort of trying to stay a live, or you just die from the cancer. But at least the former means DOING something, while the latter is just to give up and wait for the end to come. There's more action to one of them than the other.

@MaryamYouyou Absolutely right. I'll be damned if I let my mind get in my way, when there's actual, physical problems outside of it to deal with.
