Drinking booze is not against conservatism though. The consumption if alcohol is a long standing western tradition reaching as far back as ancient times. Trying to get rid of drinking is anti conservative.

The primary cause of opioid deaths isn't really caused by illegal drug use in the U.S, but the pharmaceutical companies and the doctors in their pockets who put every patient with any kind of pain or ailment on powerful opiates to treat symptoms, turning them into addicts.

@iloveyou6613 More like corruption. Capitalism in itself is morally neutral. But when you use capitalism to turn people into opioid addicts, then you're pretty damn corrupt.

@Србомбоница86 : Not really. I drink because scotch has a pleasant taste and scent, and if I get drunk it is during a festive mood. I don't drink if I feel sad, stressed, angry or frustrated in some pursuit of numbing those emotions. I mean, they're just negative feelings, nothing more. They pass with time. And as a man I've been brought up to always maintain a stoic disposition towards emotions. Escaping negative emotions is neither in my conditioning nor in my nature.

@anchorthesun3438 : If you can't hold your liquor, then you shouldn't drink. Stumbling around in the streets is not becoming of a proper man or woman.
