  2.  @chaptermasterpedrokantor1623  Yes, and normies being normies will not buy and paint fully painted armies to play with. That requires dedication (I know because I have painted a couple of armies to play with in the past), so it's foolish to try and "re imagine" the hobby to cater to normies, because the normies will not exhibit that dedication. If you want to ensnare the normies, video games are better for the purpose.

  3.  @Alfred5555  Yes, I tend to argue the same point. But of course the libertarians and ancaps always just shut their ears and yell loudly at such accurate and fact based predictions. It doesn't mean I agree with socialism or anything like that. All i'm saying is that completely "free markets" have only one logical conclusion: neo-feudalism, where the new kings and lords will go by the names of Coca-Cola, Monsanto, Nestle and Microsoft. And the rest of us will be relegated to becoming the new serf class. I don't want to be a serf, so that's why I oppose fiscal libertarianism in many ways, because I just don't see how giving more freedoms and power to the corpos somehow translates into safeguarding MY interests as a regular person. I don't oppose trade, and I generally think that markets should be "as free as possible". But there has to be an authority that reigns in the evil ambitions of private corporations, that isn't slaved to the commodity market.

  4.  @Alfred5555  Speaking of responsible capitalism. I just found out that the CEO of Nestle made the claim that water should not be a right afforded to people. Drinking water should be in control of private corporations... Goes to show how deep the rot goes in that particular ideology right now.
