Yes and that makes them competent custodians of their country by default. It is reckless and irresponsible to plot a course for your nation where it becomes more and more dependant on the approval and imports of foreign countries. Independence should be the most desirable outcome for any responsible citizen.

@chrisdahnken797 Yep, even for the Scots. The problem with Scotland is that their only "independence party" the SNP is doing just what I cautioned against: plotting a course for more dependence on approval and imports from foreigners, in their desire to join the EU. Scotland might not be fully independent as a state in Great Britain, but it's definitely more independent in GB than it would ever be in the EU. If the SNP had argued in favor of a more genuine independence where Scotland neither becomes a part of the EU or GB, then I would'be had a different opinion of them.

There is something magical to every country in the world. That is why it's important to keep them all separate and preserve their unique magicks for their natives and for visitors to enjoy. You lose the unique magic of a country when you try to forcefully mash it together with all others and obliterate it's distinctness by mixing it up with too much cultural influence from elsewhere.

That's right globalist. The brexiteers don't give a crap about your "exotic foreign foods" and their decreased affordability. You're not exactly making them look bad with this argument. You make them look resilient and strong because they don't have the weak food cravings like people like you possess.
