Chad B: There was this older game called Sniper: Ghost Warrior that made a pretty good attempt at simulating real sniping too. You were forced to account for bullet drop and windage with every shot.

Vulf Almasy: I work at an airsoft store. We have one of these in stock as an airsoft version. Some COD nerd with too much money will probably love it. But as an airsoftplayer myself, I wouldn't go near it. Because internally, there's no difference between this or an M40A3 or an L96. They all shoot the same plastic pellets, and with upgrades they'll get the same level or performance. So the Cheytac airsoft version is just mostly dead weight with no added performance whatsoever... Which is fine for some people, since they enjoy weighty guns just for the feel of it. I like airsoft-guns with a weight close to the real thing as well (I use real weapons on the range, so it just feels "wrong" if the gun is too light). But I wouldn't buy a cheytac, because that huge load of extra weight doesn"t give me any advantage or added performance, like a real Cheytac would.

DerMeister821: It's pretty stupid that it takes six shots to kill someone as it is. In real life you wouldn't be standing up even after just one shot. If you're lucky you got hit in the ballistic plate and might survive, but you're out of commission for the day.
