  1. This is exactly why I became less social in real life The internet revealed the true nature of some humans. Social interactions with them IRL is just a polite facade designed to avoid conflicts when those conflicts don't benefit them. But underneath, they are actually psychotic.

  2. You can talk about politics by being descriptive of view of different political groups. The problem begins when you take sides with certain political camps and then proceeds to pass of your biased take as "factual". I am opposed to all forms of socialism and communism. I can still describe socialist and communist ideology in an objective manner. I understand what they believe and how they think. I can understand what an opponent believes, and present their beliefs without necessarily agreeing with those beliefs myself. But some people seem incapable of doing that, and so they should stay away from politics if they can't help themselves from taking a side and then presenting that side's narrative as "factual"..

  3. "Our brains had to adapt to a more diverse set of neighbours" That is the myth. Our brains never adapted to diverse neighbours at any point in history. Our tribal in-group preference is just as relevant today as it was back in the past. The only issue is that if you happen to be white and exhibit in-group biases and preferences, the whole world accuse you of racism. While anyone who isn't white do the same, they get a free pass.
