  2. I know what yoou're not gonna do. You're not gonna accept the black applicant because you want to fill some "racial quota" derived from affirmative action. An applicant having identical qualifications as another applicant is an extremely rare scenario, you do know this right?

  5. squid porn: That's an argument for improving the grading system (like increasing the measurement scale to encompass more degrees of skill, instead of the "top" all getting "perfect" scores). Not an argument for racial quotas.

Affirmative action and lowering the standards that female applicants have to accomplish only lowers the overall respect for women in these fields. Let all apply (man, woman doesn't matter), but have the same standards for all, and the people most qualified and most deserving will pass, while the ones who do not make the cut will flunk out.
