The alt-right is purposefully appropriating left-wing, identity politics reasoning and applying it to white males in order to expose the inherent hypocrisy in left-wing identity politics. Left-wing social justice warriors don't just skirt racism and sexism, they flat out embrace it when it comes to subjecting whites and white men to racism and sexism. This is the reason why the alt-right does it: to expose hypocrisy and mock the left-wing SJW's. Because the fact of the matter is: white people is the last race that is politically correct to hate and subject to racism. White men is the last gender it is considered okay to subject to flat out sexism. It happens all the time in left-wing identity politics.
