  2. People dont understand why southern California is warm on New Years Day for the Rose Parade & Bowl. Wind comes across the mountains & friction heats it up. Some times you can feel it, sometimes you cant. They are called the Santa Ana winds & can cause fires

  8.  @shinyy160  I grew up in NJ, lived in Orange County CA for 32 years(perfect weather)& moved to AZ per doctors recommendation 4 years ago. I have to leave. No one tells you how cold it gets in December(killed 3 trees), 12 good weeks in the spring & 12 good weeks in the fall(not this year) when you can open the drapes & see outside.
