The BBC, CNN and the overwhelming majority of the MSM provide one narrative, which is one of unremitting doom and the need for ever increasing restrictions on our lives. Then there is the wider scientific viewpoint which they never cover. There is so much more to be heard from the alternatives. A good starting point is The Great Barrington Declaration.
