"...people are angry and I understand why they're angry" But the beaming smile on his face as he says it tells us what our anger amounts to in his eyes.

@Tom He's a Member of Parliament. The prime reason for occupying that position is to care about, and to work in the interests of, the public. The public are angry and that should make him care. Any further questions, please don't hesitate.

Mike It's not a hair piece, it's a blonde busby.

@jrobs1133 Me too; but not in the parliament that lays down my laws.

@hardworker645 That's a possibility, yes. Business as usual.
1
@Tom And what our leadership are doing now is just how things have always been, yes?
1
@Tom They have never shut down the nation's economy and people's right to be with their loved ones as they die. Never. A whole different level.
1
@Tom The economy was shut down to all those traders who were not allowed to trade. That situation remains a possibility in their minds and is restraining investment. The 'pandemic' was/is a situation which, it is increasingly clear to see, was/is massively and unnecessarily overblown. Why? So that the government could do to us, that which it has never, ever been able to do previously.
1
@Tom Your not being able to trade was close-down. You happy about that? Long term you won't be - and try tell me we're out of it, just go on.
1
@Tom Not all about you mate, and it's not all about what is immediately around you. Small/medium businesses were hammered last year in England - Christmas a washout once again for many - and very likely will be again. Scotland and Wales is showing what to expect. Then there's Austria, then Australia, then Germany, then New Zealand, then most states in the US.........etc
1
@Tom You're using the past tense. This is ongoing.
1
@Tom Tell that to club owners in Scotland and Wales and so many other places. The 'lockdown in being' hovers, and all business people know this.
1
@Tom It is being systematically strangled as we speak.
1
@Tom Don't know where you are mate but just take a walk down your local town's streets. Does that look good to you?
1
@Tom Not my town, any town. London. That representative enough? It's shops are gone in so many places. I'm not understanding what? How we're going to pay off the hundreds of billions spent making war on a virus that cannot be beaten?
1
@jrobs1133 Which bit of my comments gave you the impression I had stated there was such a law?
