Isn't it a puzzle how the people who used to sell stuff to us two years ago, for a certain number of our pounds, have suddenly started to ask for more of those pounds for the same stuff? This couldn't possibly be due to the fact that the Bank of England has plucked from the ether, £hundreds of billions 'to fight a virus' thus debasing the value of all those pre-existing? Surely not! And the answer to this problem is......wait for it........yes! Invent some more money! Utter clown.
