Fuck dry January. They did it with tobacco and now they're after alcohol. They're after your bacon sandwich and you won't even be able to fly to somewhere sunny for holiday. Fuck new normal.

@Imperialbbuilding Yes, of course. How to 'collectively say no' though? What should we do? What do you do as an individual? Chances are that you wear the mask and have been jabbed. If you have, then you've given up any resistance.

@edenbreckhouse We're on the same side of this mate. It's just unfair to ask the landlords in the three pubs I use - who held on through all this shit so far and opened-up again - just unfair to expect people like that to commit business suicide. I know in the long run, if this goes on, they will all be ruined by these bastards; but it's human nature to hang on as long as possible.

Pubs and restaurants have done everything in their power to stay afloat. They could have packed up long ago as so many others.

@ruairilocke9898 The mask and jab refusal is all any of us can do. If you go into any shop right now, you see what we are up against. This could only be stopped by the courage of individuals - the representative bodies of which you speak have all been bought. The people doing this are very clever and very rich.

@ruairilocke9898 I agree entirely but this cannot be done by asking traders to put themselves immediately out of business. We're in a right fix that's for sure. I don't know the answer.
