  2. Limited compassion perhaps, but no respect for people who are too lazy or weak to do a bit of thinking and research and simply do as 'nudged'. How many blatant lies does it take? The masks need to go - they are the symbol that maintains the lie that we are all in mortal danger from each other. However, the SAGE doom-mongers are even now, on the very day of 'relaxation' of restrictions, being wheeled-out to keep the spell alive. Thursday's Radio 4 'Woman's Hour' did a piece on masks, setting out to give us 'what the science says'. That science consisted in one Professor Robert West - behavioural psychologist and SAGE member; and Christina Pagel of 'independent SAGE' (?) - whose expertise is in 'operational research'. The take-away from them for the audience was that lifting restrictions is irresponsible and that mask mandates should not only be upheld, but should be made more stringent by insisting on the use of higher spec' models. This one viewpoint is the BBC's idea of 'what the science says': more SAGE fear. Who selected the members of SAGE? Who keeps them in their position and who is sending them out to speak through the national broadcaster to keep people in abject trauma by referring to scientific peer-reviewed papers which find that masks are ineffective, as 'old guff'?
