  2. Coronaviruses. They have been with us for millions of years. This is what they do: they form and they breakout and because they are new, they are able to kill people. After a short upsurge, they use up all the susceptible hosts and the outbreak wanes. The virus is still here and always will be, but now it learns not to do as much killing but to merely infest and live within. The mutations always go the same way: more transmissible but less virulent. They can call each 'variant' whatever name they want but they all will follow this route. In this sense, Neil Oliver is right in that the pandemic is over. Here is the problem: the aim from the start was to keep the public locked-down until the economy was taken down. This has not yet happened. This is all now media-driven mass psychosis.
