  1. The Chief Medical Officer is not beyond question, nor reproach. All of science rests upon the understanding that everything is open to investigation; nothing is beyond challenge. Two years into this almost, and the cycle of overblown claims to justify crippling lockdowns cannot be allowed to continue - we have to try another tack. Or am I missing what this is all about? Could it be that the lockdowns are here not to save lives but to take down the economy to be able to Build Back Better? The CMO is a very powerful position - just one of many whose power seems to be totally dismissive of the dreadful damage that lockdowns are doing. I am reminded of an observation from Professor Donald Rayfield, describing the way the Russian Revolution was brought about: "Lenin understood that it isn't your numbers that matter. It isn't your popular support that matters. You just paralyse the country by occupying the key positions; and then you take over."
