  1. Project fear never went away. Lockdowns themselves are hideously damaging - that's what they were introduced for. However, the ever-present threat that lockdowns can be re-applied fully or even more severely, is almost as damaging in that it destroys all confidence in building for the future. It's a simple choice: freedom or totalitarian rule; capitalism, with all its shortcomings, or communism with all its utopian promise.
