Enjoy your Christmas because very shortly after Boxing Day, the three of them will be peering at us all from their panelled room to tell us what we already know.

  2. "...voluntary measures might well be enough..." The whole 'contain the virus' narrative carries on apace. What voluntary measures? Why do we need measures to stop people catching a cold? We are now two years into this and the way people talk is as if people will be piling bodies in the street. That image was used from the outset and we need to grow up and get back to normal.
