Defence spending, or more accurately in our current situation, offence spending, will be funded how all wars are funded: through the creation of hundreds of billions of additional currency units. In fact, the fighting is just the sideline for the plebs to watch while munching Doritos and having a spread-bet on the footie. The real event is the spending of fresh currency. All the 'money printing' goes on out of the public's sight. The economy is to be destroyed by the degradation of the pound - ditto the US dollar and any other fool country that tags along. Above all else, this is a war on the people by the governments they voted for.
