  1. Yes but, how are we going to cure these pesky small business owners of their sinful habit of working hard and keeping some of their profit for themselves after tax? I've got a a great idea: we can simply make it illegal for them to open their premises for an extended period, so that they simply can't survive and are forced to shut up shop. I know what you're going to say: "don't be stupid, how could we ever get away with that?" No problem. What we'll do is, we'll tell everyone that this year's viral outbreak and all its illness and death, are much worse than they actually are. We'll bombard the people with media lies to make them so traumatised that they will see the logic of staying home and putting the economy way down the list of priorities. We'll call it a 'pandemic'.
