Very interesting and worthwhile ideas raised here. The one overall assumption though, seems to be that the increase in inequality that has resulted from the recent increase in currency supply through money printing; was not in fact the desired outcome. Looking at what is happening, watching what governments are doing - while saying other things - my gut feeling is that the working and middle class are being systematically hollowed-out. They are having their wealth removed by design rather than as a result of ineptness.
